China Factory Suppliers of Standard Jacketed Fermentation Tanks for Chemical Industry Applications
Description
The fermentation tank designed by our factory is a standard tank type, which adopts a jacket type when the nominal volume is below 6M3. The cooling or heating of fermentation gas is completed by a jacket. When the nominal volume is above 6M3, the cooling of the fermentation gas is carried out by a vertical exhaust pipe. We have made improvements in the connection of the exhaust pipes inside the tank. This mainly avoids opening more holes on the tank body and creating blind spots. This continuous method has achieved satisfactory results in practical use.
Key Design Considerations
When designing fermentation equipment of various specifications, it is important to ensure a tight design structure, sufficient strength and service life, with minimal internal accessories and a smooth surface. It is important to note that the equipment should have good gas to gas contact and gas to solid mixing performance, enabling effective material transfer and gas exchange. There is a heat exchange area that allows fermentation to take place at an appropriate temperature. Pay attention to the sealing performance of the equipment to ensure sterilization operations.
The types of fermentation equipment tanks can be divided into two categories: one is the cone type for anaerobic fermentation (such as alcohol fermentation), and the other is the tank type for anaerobic fermentation (such as standard, Wu type, self suction type, etc.). This type of equipment is particularly commonly used in standard tank types. The drawing materials of the fermentation tank series designed by our factory belong to the standard tank type.

Frequently Asked Questions
What cooling/heating methods are used for different fermentation tank sizes?
For nominal volumes below 6M3, the fermentation tank adopts a jacket type for heating or cooling. For nominal volumes above 6M3, cooling is carried out through a vertical exhaust pipe system.
How does the exhaust pipe design prevent internal blind spots?
Our factory has improved the connection of the internal exhaust pipes inside the tank. This continuous connection method avoids opening excessive holes on the tank body, effectively eliminating potential blind spots.
What are the two main categories of fermentation equipment tanks?
The equipment is divided into cone-type tanks designed for anaerobic fermentation (such as alcohol fermentation) and standard tank-type systems (including standard, Wu type, and self-suction type configurations).
What physical structure requirements are critical during design?
It is essential to ensure a tight design structure, sufficient structural strength, long service life, minimal internal accessories, and highly smooth surfaces inside the tank.
How does the equipment ensure efficient material transfer and sterilization?
The tank is designed with optimal gas-to-gas contact and gas-to-solid mixing performance for material transfer, a dedicated heat exchange area for temperature control, and high sealing performance to ensure effective sterilization operations.
