Working principle
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
This device is suitable for the recovery of dilute alcohol in pharmaceuticals, food, light industry, and chemical industries. It can also be used for the distillation of other soluble solvents such as methanol.
The device is capable of distilling diluted alcohol at temperatures around 30°C to 90°C-95°C based on user needs. If a higher concentration is required, the reflux ratio can be increased, though the output will decrease accordingly.
All components of the device that come into contact with alcohol, including the condensers, stabilizing tanks, and cooling coils, are made of high-quality stainless steel to ensure the finished product remains uncontaminated.
The distillation kettle features a detachable U-shaped heating tube. During maintenance, it can be pulled out of the kettle to easily clean both the outer wall of the heating tube and the inner wall of the distillation kettle.
This device is highly versatile and can be used for intermittent production, as well as semi-continuous and continuous production cycles.
It operates on the principle that alcohol has a lower boiling point than other solutions. By heating the dilute solution to a temperature slightly above the boiling point of alcohol, the alcohol evaporates and is refined by the tower body into pure alcohol gas, increasing the final concentration.
