China Suppliers Factory Drum Flaker for Cooling Crystallization and Sheet Production
Working principle
Drum Forming Machine
It is a cooling crystallization process, in which the molten material in the material tray comes into contact with the cooled drum, forming a material film on the surface of the drum. Through heat exchange between the material film and the strand wall, the material film cools and crystallizes, and the crystallized material film is scraped off by a scraper to form a sheet-like product.
Drum Drying
It is a continuous process of heating and drying materials attached to the outer wall of the drum or strip materials through a rotating drum and heat transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q:
How does the drum forming machine crystallization process work?
The molten material in the tray contacts the cooled drum to form a film. Through heat exchange, the film cools and crystallizes, and is then scraped off to create a sheet-like product.
Q:
What is the purpose of the side scraper on the drum forming machine?
The side scraper is specifically designed to avoid material accumulation at the side of the drum during operation.
Q:
Can this equipment be used for both slicing and drying?
Yes, the equipment is multi-functional and capable of performing both slicing (nodule formation) and drying processes.
Q:
What materials are suitable for the nodule formation process?
It is suitable for polymers (like petroleum resins), organic chemicals (like phthalic anhydride and bisphenol), and inorganic chemicals (like caustic soda and sulfurized alkali).
Q:
What types of solutions can be processed in the drying application?
It can dry slurry dyes (hydrogen sulfide, sulfur), inorganic solutions (sodium sulfate, magnesium chloride, etc.), and food solutions like skim milk and milk.
Q:
What is the speed range of the drum forming machine models?
All listed models (DZ-1 to DZ-22) feature a continuously variable speed ranging from 3 to 15 r/min.
