China Suppliers Factory: External Heating Two Effect Vacuum Evaporator for Efficient Solution Evaporation
Main principles
The mechanical steam re compression MVR evaporator utilizes the secondary steam generated in the evaporator. After being compressed by the compressor, the pressure and temperature increase, and the enthalpy increases. It is then sent to the heating chamber of the evaporator as heating steam to maintain the boiling state of the feed liquid, while the heating steam itself condenses into water. In this way, the steam that was originally to be discarded is fully utilized, recovering moisture and improving thermal efficiency. The economic efficiency of steam generation is equivalent to 30 times that of multi effect evaporation, reducing the demand for external heating and cooling resources, energy consumption, and pollution.
Main features
Advanced Energy Saving: MVR energy-saving evaporator technology is currently one of the most advanced evaporator technologies internationally, which only requires a very small amount of steam (a small amount of steam is needed during startup, and steam is almost no longer needed during normal operation), greatly reducing enterprise operating costs and reducing environmental pollution.
Mild Evaporation: Due to the use of a compressor to provide heat source, the temperature difference is much smaller compared to traditional evaporators, which can achieve mild evaporation, greatly improve product quality, and reduce scaling.
Simple & Reliable: No condenser or only a small area of condenser is required, the structure and process are very simple, fully automatic operation, continuous operation, safe and reliable.
CIP Cleaning: The equipment is equipped with CIP cleaning pipelines, which can achieve on-site cleaning. The entire equipment is easy to operate and has no dead corners.
Low-Temperature Operation: The MVR evaporator is used to evaporate materials at low temperatures (evaporation temperature of 40 ℃ -100 ℃). The material liquid is uniform, does not run, is not prone to coking, and the heating denaturation of the material is small.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What is the basic working principle of an MVR evaporator?
An MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) evaporator recycles the secondary steam generated during the evaporation process. By using a compressor to increase the steam's pressure, temperature, and enthalpy, it is reused as a heating source to keep the feed liquid boiling, significantly reducing the need for external fresh steam.
Q: How energy-efficient is MVR compared to traditional evaporation systems?
MVR technology is highly efficient. The economic efficiency of its steam generation is equivalent to approximately 30 times that of multi-effect evaporation systems, drastically lowering overall energy consumption, operational costs, and environmental pollution.
Q: Can the MVR evaporator handle heat-sensitive materials?
Yes. The MVR evaporator can operate at low evaporation temperatures ranging from 40 ℃ to 100 ℃. This makes it ideal for heat-sensitive materials, preventing coking and minimizing thermal denaturation.
Q: Does the system require manual cleaning?
No, the equipment is equipped with integrated CIP (Clean-in-Place) cleaning pipelines. This allows for fully automated, on-site cleaning with no dead corners, ensuring easy maintenance and hygienic operations.
Q: Is external steam required during normal operation of an MVR evaporator?
Only a small amount of external steam is required during the initial startup phase. Once the system reaches normal operation, it relies almost entirely on compressed secondary steam, eliminating the need for continuous external steam input.
